Environmental Grafitti
I found this awesome article in Treehugger today: http://www.treehugger.com/culture/street-artist-sends-enviromental-messages-stencils-paint.html. Yes, I love the label Tree Hugger because I DO hug trees. I'm really political about the environment. Most of what bothers me has to with the idea of "the world," which to me is much different than "the earth," and the over-whelming shotsightedness of people as a species to acknowledge that we need our habitat. And that we share that habitat with a whole lot of other people, too. I could go on about this, and I'm sure I will in time, but I highly encourage you to take a look at the art in the article.
